These images are not paintings.  They are photographic prints of a series of canyons carved by water and chiseled by wind over thousands of years.  Light comes from above and bounces off sandstone walls as the sun moves along its path.  Depending on the angle, different colors echoes throughout the mysterious canyons.  The colors changes as quickly as it appears.  It is hauntingly beautifully.  Often, the only sound heard is the flapping of wings from birds or bats that find shelter from the sweltering sun; as the temperature inside the canyons could be as much as 40 degrees cooler than outside.  Local Navajo consider the canyons sacred and passage is limited.  Photography is extremely challenging, due to the very slow shutter speed required.  I am pleased to offer these exquisite prints that you may proudly display in your home or office.
